Terms of Use
The short version: SafeSpend helps you plan your spending. It’s a guide, not financial advice. Subscriptions are handled by Apple, and you can cancel any time.

The agreement
By downloading or using SafeSpend, you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which governs your licence to use the app. Where these terms and the Standard EULA differ, the Standard EULA applies.
A budgeting aid, not financial advice
SafeSpend works out a daily amount from the numbers you enter. It doesn’t connect to your bank and can’t see your real balance, so your number is only as accurate as what you type. It isn’t financial, tax or investment advice. Decisions about your money are yours.
Free and Pro
SafeSpend is free to download and use, with a limit of 3 logged expenses. SafeSpend Pro removes the limit and includes the Neon app icon.
Subscriptions
- SafeSpend Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or from Profile → Manage Subscription in SafeSpend.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
Free trial
The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. SafeSpend reminds you 2 days before it ends. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription begins and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Refunds and restoring
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you reinstall SafeSpend or use a new device, Profile → Restore Purchases brings Pro back.
Earlier lifetime purchases remain valid.
Your data
Your data is stored on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t keep a copy, so we can’t recover it if you erase it or delete the app. Export as CSV lets you keep your own copy.
The app itself
We work to keep SafeSpend accurate and reliable, and we update it over time. Features may change. SafeSpend is provided “as is”, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from decisions made using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
